Stardew Valley on Console Soon!

If you’re not excited for this, then you must not know what Stardew Valley is. If that’s the case, you are in for a treat! Take everything you know about the Harvest Moon series and other farming games from your childhood, and multiply that by a hundred. It’s a farming simulator in the same style, and so much more.  You don’t have to take my word for it, either. The “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam speak for themselves.

But the days of being locked into a PC to play are soon to be over.  The Seattle-based developer Eric Barone (who goes by the handle ConcernedApe), has announced that Stardew Valley is coming to the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Wii U sometime before the winter holidays hit. This means it will hopefully be a great gift for the family and friends.

If you don’t have the latest and greatest console, have no fear. In the same post, Eric also reports “The Mac and Linux version of the game are still in the works, and should be ready very soon!” which means the love is spreading even further! Now, if I haven’t convinced you yet it’s worth checking out, maybe the trailer will get you hooked.
