Is there a more iconic fight from The Legend of Zelda series than with Dark Link? If I play as Link in Smash Brothers, you better believe I’ll be choosing the Dark Link color. You can now embrace that same evil facade for yourself with the Dark costume in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s a late game costume as you’ll need to have freed all four of the Divine Beasts before you can get this outfit, and its stats aren’t particularly impressive, but who wouldn’t want to be Dark Link for the rest of the game?

To acquire this supremely wonderful Easter Egg, you’ll need to head over to East Akkala Stable up in the northeast. Speak to Hoz to get the “A Shady Customer” side-quest which requires you to take a picture of a lovable merchant named Kilton. Head on over to Skull Lake. It’s that lake that looks like a skull nearby. On the left eye-land (did you see what I did there?), you’ll see him. You really can’t miss him unless you go there outside of the 9PM-4AM range. When you speak to him, he’ll tell you how he’s a monstrous salesman and where he’ll appear. Find him again and he’ll tell you about his brand-new currency called Mon (fight the establishment!) you can get by trading monster parts.
Save up those monster parts early folks – it takes almost 4,000 Mon to buy the full Dark costume, not to mention all the other outfits and horse goodies you can acquire from him. With the entire Dark set equipped, you’ll be able to sprint faster at nighttime, but that’s a sidenote to how awesome you’ll now look.
