If you’ve been craving for a new Persona game, you now have a date for your next fix. This week at E3, it was announced that Persona 5 will be released on Feb. 14, 2017 in the Americas (yes, that’s right, on Valentine’s Day) for both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. As usual for Japanese games, those in Japan can expect an early release of September 2016.
As with previous games in the Persona series, you play as a high school student in Tokyo. You join forces with other students and the group discovers their Persona powers together. Deciding to put this power to good use, your team dons masks and becomes the “Phantom Thieves of Hearts”. Wait, thieves, stealing for the sake of good? In this case, yes. Using your powers to enter a supernatural realm called “Palace”, you begin your thieving ways by stealing evil thoughts from hearts of adults.
Morgana hosted the E3 event, showing that the game will be localized in English.

Rumors show at this moment that there will not be dual audio available, so the American release won’t be able to enjoy the original Japanese audio. Oh well, maybe they’ll eventually release the Japanese audio pack as a DLC?
