The Walking Dead fans are still pondering who Lucille’s fury was unleashed upon. Season six ended with all the major players in a circle, and Negan needing to set an example. If you’re hoping to see some spoilers before the probable mid-October premiere of season seven, you may be disappointed.
With the easy availability of drones now, many diehard fans set it upon themselves to try to capture sneak peeks by hovering drones to film the cast while recording. Because of this, AMC has gone to great lengths in ensuring the secrets aren’t leaked. Will this repeat on the show? The show definitely has its own creative angle to the comics, having deviated multiple times from the original content. Daryl Dixon, arguably the most popular character in the show, isn’t even in the comics. This isn’t the only thing AMC has done to protect the show’s secrecy. With fans scouting all around Atlanta to see their favorite stars, actors typically walk around in hoods or wear costumes to hide who is still alive in the series. Actress Sonequa Martin-Green, known in the show as Sasha, even says, “Sometimes you can tell a specific story point based on what someone’s wearing or what their makeup looks like — so in that case, we do what we can to cover in order to protect the story.”
Personally, I don’t like spoilers anyway. I just can’t wait for the return in October!
