As we said before, patch 242 will have the massive biome changes which include the Redwoods. Up above, you can see the new Redwoods. These trees look massive! I mean, that is an adult rex, right? I wonder if they’ll give more wood than normal trees? Maybe hacking at the tree will last a bit longer? Maybe it’ll give you a different type of wood. I can’t wait to find out at the end of the month!
Speaking of which, coming 5/25 (I mean this is Studio Wildcard, so hopefully somewhere around there) we will have an update indicating safe areas and destroyed areas on the map with this biome change.
Hopefully your base will be safe, but at least we’re getting concrete warning this time.
